While standing in line at downtown Vancouver’s Transit office to deal w/ my bum-crushed-inoperable C-Card. I noticed an E-Asian man in riders gear. “Black n Yellow” [3x] in hand a Schuberth C3 Helmet High-Viz [expensive head-gear, I thought]. I figured he may be parked in a spot where he may get ticketed as the line was a-bit lenghty. I offered him my spot in  line [go ahead]. He assents, says it wouldn’t matter. Well, he seems nice of a person. I shouldn’t miss this opportunity to do some M2TVextreme Lifestyle tet-a-tet [putting all (our) proclivity, and my reservedness aside]. I attempted an interview [of sorts]. Here is what transpired. [best of my recollection,since I failed to use my phones video app to record conversation...]

[After asking, what do you ride, answered]

Zero, electric-motorcycle, from California. [I've heard of them, awesome. I'am thinking it was showcased a couple years ago at the EPiC expo at the Convention Centre, downtown, Vancouver BC, I recall while participating at the event, watching a TV-Media Celebrity of sorts G Strombo' etc try to test it out abit. Should've had a camera phone]. He asked if I ride, [I do not/yet] I mentioned wanting an electric-motorcycle, a S-Korean brand I couldn’t recall the name [brain-freeze, so I'am calling it for now]. It very well, could’ve been an EM=EM1300, 2012. Then again, I said Mitsubishi. Totally wrong brand.

We discussed, his motorcycle, not only is environmentally friendly, economical as for no [gas pollutant] emissions, less noise from pipes [exhaust] is helpful, beneficial to (ones) the ears, [not loud less noise] his helmet [Schubeth brand] and the additional headset attached to his helmet and that he found listening to music (especially at a stop light and for long rides) very accommodating, and relaxing, and he can enjoy the ride more.

Keanu Reeves teamed up with custom chopper gure Gard Hollinger and started a company, known as. Arch Motorcycle Company [in 2014] they released its first bike, the KRGT-1, a US$78,000 chopper-inspired sports bare with a large 2-litre S&S v-twin engine and a body that’s all hewn from billet aluminum. So, you see it’s also Eco-Friendly product!

More on AMC and KRGT-1 later on this month.

For those enthusiast and eficianados of motorcycle and sport events its en-compases, you know the season begins in January. Long anticipated SBK’ Daytona in Fla. and across the way to L.A. for Motorcross-Supercross season commenced.

Summer 2015 Upcoming Events

The annual Vintage, exotic, classic and muscle cars in Western Canada will gather at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on Saturday, July 18th, from 2 to 6 pm, for the second annual Ultimate Car Show [ and the odd custom - tweeked - motorcycle]. This free community event, which is put on in partnership with Canada’s premiere custom car company, 360 Fabrication Inc. of Abbotsford, BC. This event will show-case one-of-a-kind cars such as a 1970 Chevelle that can go from 0 to 60mph in 3.5 seconds, and a million-dollar 1963 Lincoln Continental that gained international attention after being unveiled at the 2015 Vancouver International Auto Show.

Spain’s Monteblanco circuit was the setting for Avintia Racing’s 2013 launch on Friday. As well as running CRT bikes for Hiroshi Aoyama and Héctor Barberá in MotoGP™ this year, the squad also has Toni Elías and Britain’s Kyle Smith in its Moto2 <3

MGP: Dani Pedrosa decided to curtail his running at Circuit of the Americas on Thursday, completing the third and final day of the private test with just 24 laps to his name. Yet to discover precisely why, the Spaniard was suffering from neck pain

MGP: Stefan Bradl is confident that he and LCR Honda MotoGP will be able to achieve podium finishes this season. Furthermore, the German is particularly optimistic about the possibility becoming a reality at the second round in Texas.

F1: McLaren were off the pace in Australia on Friday. Jenson Button achieving a top-ten grid slot on Saturday is looking tough, unless the unpredictable Melbourne weather comes to their aid…

The opening practice sessions in Melbourne were both familiar and odd. We are used to Red Bull being fastest, but rarely on a Friday when the world champions normally opt to play their cards close to their chest. What does it all mean? Sebastian Vettel seemed pretty happy.… :)

Eric Boullier (Team Lotus), Paul Hembery (Pirelli), Jean-Michel Jalinier (Renault Sport F1), Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren), Toto Wolff (Mercedes). Q: Jean-Michel, after three very successful years partnership with Red Bull as the engine supplier, objectives for this 2013 season? Another double world championship :)

Over the winter McLaren lost their star driver. Now their technical director is headed to a rival team and their title sponsors have announced their departure at the end of this season. On top of that, their new car looked decidedly short of pace in Melbourne on Friday. So is team principal Martin Whitmarsh still optimistic for 2013? We caught up with him after the opening practice sessions at Albert Park

March 14th update:
MotoGP™ rookie Marc Márquez leaves Circuit of the Americas with confidence, having topped all three days of this week’s private test. Just four riders took to the track on Thursday, with Dani Pedrosa and Stefan Bradl completing the top three. :D

Segment TBC:

One of our programs feature segments is athletes who ride motorcycles. Although it’s taboo for pro-ballers to ride as it may be in their contract. A few still do on the side.
David Beckham, B. Rothlisberger, K. Winslow, J, Koeppel… just to name a few… Some who’ve experienced accidents riding their motorbikes.
Talking about the safety one has to take especially being an athlete will be something to review…
We hope to interview the few who still ride and ride safely in the world of Sports and Entertainment...
Perhaps we’ll start with CFL players… Argos, or Lyon (Lions)…
Closer to home… Unless my contacts In California can hook us up with a Raiders, 49ers, Laker, Galaxy, Angels, Chargers, Dodgers, Clippers, Kings, Sharks athlete who still ride motorcycle on the side or post retirement.
GO Ravens, GO 49ers… however you have it an J.Harbaugh wins. :-)
