Rogers Centre, course is a rough tundra of rocky and in part soft loose dirt mix with sand. That is what the riders will have to contend with tonight.
Riding with injury in the open Lites series is #21 Blake Wharton with a torn right ligament. Doctor says he needs to be operated on.
Heat 1: 6 laps Lites competition, first 9 qualify. Out the gate first right left turn no mihaps as they riders bottle neck, and first to burst forth was, 2010 phenom Dean Wilson, followed by Blake Baggett, Malcolm Stewart, Darryn Durham and Blake Wharton. And thats how it was pretty much in heat one. Levi Kilbarger motor failed with 2 laps to go, he ended up in 9th position, he goes on to next heat.
Brief Bio: before next heat.
Dean Wilson, born in Glasgow Scotland, migrated to Canada, where he took up the sport of motor cross, moved to U.S. no doubt for sponsorship, finished 6th overall in 2010, a rising star in the Supercross arena. His family and Canadian fans all came out to cheer him at Rogers Centre tonight. He dedicated his heat win to his auntie. aaw, that was sweet! Dean is in 3rd spot for 2011 points standing so far.
Heat: 1.
#15 Wilson 1st, #57 B. Baggett 2nd and #139 Malcolm Stewart 3rd.
Heat: 2. 6 lap race.
Out the gate at the first turn a 6-7 rider pile up, caused by #156 Suzuki RMZ250 Jason Anderson #17 Honda’s Justin Barcia escaped to lead.
Lap 3: GEICO Hondas #17 J. Barcia, #533 Gannon Audettte DNA Shred Stix/Scott sports Yamaha, # 245 Lance Vincent Team Rockwell Honda, #498 Cody Robbins Honda Litz Racing, round up top four. #283 Justin Sipes, Kawasaki KX250F, 6th and the other Sipes, #25 Ryan, was in 10th, next lap he advanced to 9th to qualify next heat. #498 Cody Robbins crashed itn the tripple jump dislocated shoulder, a painful fall, his body went limp.
Final Lap:
Barcia holds ont the lead, after running into the side guards lap 5. His 4th heat win thus far 2011.
#533 Gannon Audette held on to 2nd, #245 Lance Vincent 3rd, #48 Matthew Lemoine 4th #25 Ryan Sipes on Yamaha 5th.
Main Event: Lites 15 lap race:
Out the gate, lap one it’s Justin Barcia and Blake Wharton racing for first. Close and intences challenge by Wharton.
Lap 2: #25 Ryan Sipes advancing to 2nd is forced out on the turn by #21 Wharton.
Lap 3: #17 Justin Barcia still in lead and #139 Malcolm Stewart in 2nd, in the tripple he misses landing hits his head and chest on the cross bar [ouch] he’s out holding his chest. He may of cracked his ribs.
Lap 5. Barcia now lead by 3.8 seconds over Dean Wilson [wow this kids like speedy gonzales] #21 Blake Wharton 3rd #927 P Larlson on KTM followed closely.
Lap 4: DW advanced over Barcia through the whoops, Justins now 2nd, with 5 laps to go. Ryan Sipes 5th, Justin Sipes is battling for 9th with #57 Blake Baggett. 3 laps to go, Matt Lemoine who was in 5th fell way back to 11th spot.
Final Lap.
It was #15 Dean Wilson ME/Kawasaki night, he wins his 2nd Heat race and 1st Main Event race for the year. Justin Barcia 2nd and Blake Wharton 3rd. This kids amazing. He may bring Kawasaki TM KX250F back on top. [Go Green or Go Home!]

Dean Wilson is now 3 pts ahead of Justin Barcia with 25. Blake Wharton 20 and P Larson 18, R Sipes 16 and R Baggett 15, Justin Sipes in 11 spot with 10 points standing.
Birthday shout outs to Justin Barcia who turned 19 Friday 25 March. Finished 2nd for the night and in points.
Speedy recovery [post op] to #21 Blake Wharton who says Canada is a Wonderful country. [yeah baby, you can come back anytime, anytime].

In the lead is #1 Ryan Dungey, #41 Trey Canard 2nd, and #14 Kevin Windham 3rd.
Lap 3: Dungey and Canard battle for 1st, Dungey retains the lead for the moment.
Final lap:
Trey Canard overtakes Dungey for first, his 2nd heat win for the season. Ryan settle for 2nd.

SX Heat 2: snap shot.
#29 Andrew Short KTM 350/Red Bull is out from first lap. Later its Reed 3rd and Stewart 4th and closing in. [hey just noticed Ricky Carmichael not one of the commentators tonight,lol] Reed goes wide in the turn out the whoops, goes down. Stewart wins goes onto ME/SX Main.
SX/Main Event: 22 lap race.
Out the huddle is 2x Euro SX champion and 2x French SX Champ. Fabien Izoird on Kawasaki KX450J. Stewart loses traction goes down in.
Lap 1: Suzuki RMZ450 Rockstar R. Dungey takes back the lead from Izoird.
lap 2: Chad Reed 3rd, #27 Nicholas Wey, Trey Canard #800 Mike Alessi, #45 Weston Peick, #10 Justin Brayton, #2 Ryan Villipoto and #18 David Millsaps.
#9 Ivan Todesco on Kawasaki KX450F went down.
#7 J. Stewart in 13th spot striving to reach top 5
Lap 4: Stewart closing in on the head of the pack R Villopoto goes down, problem with his throttle.
Lap 5: Todesco and Alessi are both out back of the pack.
Lap 9: J Stewart moves from seventh to 4th and Villipoto has moved up from 17th to 14th. Dungey in lead, Reed 2nd and Canard 3rd.
3 Laps to go. Dungey still in lead, Reed 2nd Canard, Stewart still trying to make podium position. Brayton 5th, Wey 6th, Short 7th and Windham 8th.
Final Lap:
Dungey wins his 1st main event for the season. And 11th top 5 finish this season. Chad Reed of two two motors 2nd. Trey Canard 3rd and Stewart just couldn’t do it this session is 4th.
