Each participant will be given the chance to test up to two models belonging to a single category of motorcycle.

For the occasion, the concessionaires MV Agusta, Triumph and KTM Carmona Avenue will remain open, along with the Outlet clothing and accessories and spare parts.

HIMX Entries Open Hawkstone International

HIMX are pleased to announce that entries are now open for the 2013 Hawkstone International MX to be staged at Hawkstone Park on 10th February. There will be an MX1 and MX2 class plus a support class, only 20 entries are available for the support race the other 20 will be made up from 10 from MX1 timed practice and 10 from MX2 timed practice.

The Club had a huge turnout of riders and spectators for the 2012 Hawkstone International and will be hoping for similar again in 2013. With the early February date it gives spectators the opportunity to get their ‘race fix’ after the long winter break. Once again it is expected that some of the best riders from the GP circuit and also the top British Championship riders will be competing at the event.

Hawkstone are actively looking for more sponsors of the 2013 event to add to their current loyal supporters. Sponsorship prices start from as little as £250 – for more details or the sponsorship package please contact me on carly.rathmell@btinternet.com or carlyrathmell@yahoo.co.uk.

The Clough Taylor People’s Run is a new event established so that people can pay tribute to and thank two remarkable men while supporting some great causes.

Brian Clough and Peter Taylor brought so much to the cities of Nottingham and Derby; success, pride, profile, glory….. Now it is possible to say thank you and to mark their incredible contribution to the region and its people by giving up a morning to run (or jog or walk) 10km (6.2 miles) for charity… Sunday March 10th, 2013.

At 1530 CET today Valentino Rossi was released from the Centro Traumatologico Ortopedico in Florence, Italy, where he has been recovering following surgery last Saturday to mend his broken right leg.

He was taken by ambulance to a helicopter and is now being flown to a hospital in Cattolica, close to his home, where he will meet with doctors to discuss the next stage of his recovery.

June 5th Motorcross update: Christophe Pourcel, showed us why he’s number one, after crashing on the first turn, went on to place 1st on the podium… awesome.
Even more awesomer was young Eli Tomac who bested the best to win his heat 250cc class last weekend Lucas Oil AMA pro motorcross. this weekend finished 6th spot.

June 5th Josh Hayes and Tommy gun Hayden battled for first, Hayden took 1st all but a min’ before Hayes showed him who’s boss. 3rd was blake young besting larry pegram.
June 5th: AMA. AMSOIL SBK Daytona, Josh Herrin won a wild and wet AMA Pro Daytona SportBike final in race one of the Suzuki SuperBike Doubleheader wknd at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., beat Steve Rapp by just .008 seconds
June 5th lap 23 N Hayden Ducati tm crashes out… races went on to last 3 laps battle for 1st and 3rd kept spectators on their toes.. podium list… Pedrosa, Lorenzo and the lil brit’ casey stoner.

June 5th Mika Kallio (Pramac Racing) and Álvaro Bautista (Rizla Suzuki) continued to feel the strains of injuries as they came in 15th and 16th respectively

International Female Ride Day-Motorcycle

Beginnings: May 4th 2007- The first ever Female Ride Day was embraced by women across Canada, as well as the United States and some European countries! Please enjoy reminiscing over the photos below of the women who participated!

2010 Womens Ride Day:

South Afrika: Eden on the Bay, Blouberg and Big Bay Beach, simply breathtaking locations in Western Cape Town. Route:first stop at the Bloemendal Wine Estate where women will enjoy some light refreshments.
The group then ‘loops the ride’ via Malmesbury back to Table Bay, ending up at local Viper Lounge where the clubs owner has prepared special gifts for the women.
They then depart to final destination Eden on the Bay. Dinner will be enjoyed at local Capello Restaurant.

Toronto Canada: MOTORESS hosted “Rally for The Ride Home” on Friday 7 May, International Female Ride Day!    Keating Channel Restaurant- 2 Villiers Street -Toronto (near Polson Pier) 5–7:30 pm =Depart for group ride along Lakeshore –
